The Marine Big 5
When in Cape Town, the Marine Big 5 are a must-see. Cape Town’s location right on the coast makes it an excellent location to see The African Penguin, The Cape Fur Seal, Dolphins, Southern Right Whales, and The Great White Shark. This unique location allows for diverse sea life as it’s where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Cape Fur Seals are seen frequently around Cape Town and can be seen from both lands and on a boat.
Next, The Big 5 of South Africa
While in South Africa how would you like to meet safari royalty? The kings and queens of the South African safari include the African Lion, the African Leopard, the African Elephant, the Cape Buffalo, and the Rhino (either white or black). Did you know the South African elephant can consume up to 50 gallons of water and 375 pounds of vegetation every day? Makes you feel better about all of the food you ate over the holidays huh?
Don’t Take My Word for It, Take Arden’s
“My trip to South Africa was a unique, inspiring experience that I will never forget. The natural beauty there is made up of mountains, ocean, desert, and savannah that were all equally beautiful in their own unique ways. Not only was nature awe-inspiring, but the cities were lively and rich with culture and there was always something new to do or see.” – Arden, Client of Freedom Travel
