{"id":213,"date":"2020-09-10T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-09-10T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.freedomtravelllc.com\/blog\/?p=213"},"modified":"2020-10-02T17:50:34","modified_gmt":"2020-10-02T17:50:34","slug":"my-italy-adventure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.freedomtravelllc.com\/blog\/my-italy-adventure\/","title":{"rendered":"My Italy Adventure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>My 12 day date with Big Cork begins today. &nbsp;Careful thought went into the planning of this stimulating schedule that includes visits to 3 key wine making regions: Piedmont, Tuscany and Veneto. &nbsp;Not only will we be traveling to vineyards and tasting their wines, but, and this is the exciting part, the winemaker of Big Cork, David Collins, will be meeting with the winemakers of some of the top wineries in the country. &nbsp;We will taste Italian wines and they will taste Big Cork wines. &nbsp;Wouldn\u2019t you just love to be a fly on the wall to hear the exchange?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is what is on the schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5-winery visits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cooking class with 4-course lunch and of course plenty of local wine<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit to Parma with walking tour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit to Modena to visit balsamic vinegar producer and tasting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Florence walking tour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit to Chianti village<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Venice walking tour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vinitaly at Fiera di Verona<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wine Discussion and Dinner<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final evening is a Scavenger Hunt Cocktail Party-can\u2019t wait to see what shows up.
